They're calling it the "Lohanaissance"

She was the queen of teen romcoms back in the early noughties and she's slowly making her way back onto our screens.

Falling For Christmas, a Hallmark-style Christmas movie starring Lindsey Lohan and former Glee-star Chord Overstreet is now streaming on Netflix.

The film follows a newly engaged, hotel heiress who suffers from total amnesia after a skiing accident and finds herself in the care of a handsome lodge owner and his daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.

Since the movie was released on Netflix yesterday, reviews have started coming in. And they're actually...good?

To be honest, anyone sitting down to watch this film knows what they're getting. If you want gripping dialogue and jaw-dropping plot twists, you're not going to find it in a classically cheesy Christmas film on Netflix!

While the film itself predictably follows the same formula all these festive romcoms do, critics are finding Lohan's performance enjoyable.

A reviewer for Collider Magazine wrote "She still has the edge she used to perfection in Freaky Friday that tones down the sometimes completely overbearing sweetness of this film.”

Another review said “It’s pure joy to watch her land one-liners again, like she never left".

So the reviews are in... Lindsey's still got it!
