Sul Sul!

It’s one of the most popular video games in the world, and now it’s hitting the big screen.

The Sims Movie is officially happening, with Margot Robbie’s production company Lucky Chap set to produce.

Kate Herron, who’s known for leading the Loki movies, is already signed on to be the film’s director. She will also co-write the screenplay with Briony Redman, who has written for Doctor Who.

Lucky Chap was also involved in the production of Barbie, so they already have great success adapting childhood nostalgia for the big screen!

If you didn’t waste hours of your young life to The Sims, it’s basically a real-life simulation computer game.
You essentially play god by creating a community of people and have them carry out mundane tasks like cooking dinner and decorating their home. It’s also based on building relationships and setting goals for the characters.

The game was first released in 2000, and has had 11.5 million copies worldwide since.
