Mastercard Is Creating 1500 Jobs In Dublin Over The Next 5 Years

Mastercard has announced plans to create 1500 jobs.

The credit card giant says it will add the positions over the next three to five years as it significantly grows its new European Technology Hub in the city.

The company says it is investing in areas such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, blockchain, user experience teams.

Mastercard Ireland opened its operations in 2008 with 36 staff and since then has grown to over 650 people.

As part of its expansion plans, Mastercard will be taking on additional office space at One and Two South County, a newly built campus site in Leopardstown, South Dublin, not far from Mastercard’s current home.

The new campus-style workplace will provide state-of-the-art facilities tht include a rooftop terrace, café, changing rooms, car parking and well-being classes.
