A kite surfer has been rescued off the coast of Dublin.

It's after the Coast Guard received a call reporting a person in difficulty in the sea at Sutton.

Rescue 116 along with Howth RNLI lifeboat began a search and located the kite surfer around 300 metres off the coast at Dollymount beach.

They assisted the person back to shore - they didn't require any medical treatment.
