Dublin City Council is to allow ice cream vans pay to park at popular spots across the city next summer.

They will be stationed along three spots of Dollymount Strand, as well as in Bushy Park, Griffith Park and Fairview Park.

According to The Times Ireland Edition, they will be allowed to sell bottled soft drinks but no alcohol.

Under current plans, the locations would be taken over by coffee vendors during colder months.
