The Palace Has Re-Opened

Let’s go back a few years, when one of the city’s biggest nightclub closed.

Well now, The former ‘Palace’ has reopened under a new name, it’s now called The Camden.

Open 7 days a week, this venue goes beyond just a nightclub, but is also now a brewery &  private cinema.

Westlife Announce 2020 Gig

Following a string of sold out shows across 27 cities & two sold out nights at Croke Park, Westlife are set to return to Ireland.

It was announced this morning, that they will play their first even show in Cork, at Paric Ui Chaoimh.

Tickets for the show on August 28th 2020 will go on sale this coming Friday morning at 9AM.

Ireland Commits To Banning Single Use Plastics.

Back in March, the European council approved a EU suggestion to begin phasing out single use plastic.

Now, Ireland is getting behind the idea and is set to ban single use plastics, including straws, cotton buds & cutlery by 2021.

A new plan was announced a to reduce the amount of rubbish sent to landfill.

This strategy will also see a fee places on non-recycled food packaging.

Simply Red Announced 2020 Dublin Gig.

More gig announcements & this time Simply Red is coming to Dublin.

The band will perform at Dublin’s 3Arena on October 13th 2020.

Tickets go on sale this coming Friday at 9AM.

Dublin GAA Teams To Be Honored At Homecoming.

It was a great weekend for the boys & girls in blue.

Men’s senior team, completed the drive for five, followed by Dublin ladies squad beating Galway yesterday in Croker.

Now, both All Ireland winning team are to be honored at a home coming celebration in Merrion Square on Sunday 29th September.

With room for up to 15,000 fans on the day.

Irish Weather Is Set To Get Better This Week.

Today was awful, with rain clouds & even more rain.

It looks like we’re set to get a bit of summer back.

Tomorrow is set to be dry & calm, with sunny spells & highest temperatures of 18 degree.

Met Eireann is predicting even more settled conditions over the coming days, with parts of the country set to hit 22 degrees.
