14 Winners Crowned at the 98FM Best of Dublin Awards 2025

Celebrating the Very Best of Dublin!

Thursday, 1st May: The 98FM Best of Dublin Awards made a triumphant return for 2025, with a glamorous ceremony held on Wednesday night at The Alex Hotel. Fourteen incredible winners were crowned, as Dubliners gathered to celebrate the people, places, and businesses that make our city truly special.

First launched in 2014, the 98FM Best of Dublin Awards have become a much-loved tradition, honouring hundreds of local legends over the years – all voted for by 98FM listeners. And this year’s response was bigger than ever, with over 118,000 votes cast across 14 hotly contested categories.

The campaign ran across 98FM, social media, and through a major city-wide advertising push – including digital bridges lighting up Dublin with love for local heroes.

Wednesday night’s event was hosted by 98FM’s very own Rebecca and Brendan from the Big Breakfast, with an electric atmosphere and unforgettable moments throughout the evening. Queen of drag, Dame Stuffy, kept the audience laughing, while the always-epic Riff Shop had the room on its feet with a high-energy dance anthem set.

One of the highlights of the night was the announcement of our newest category – The Dublin Delish Award, presented by food expert Russell Alford, host of Dublin Delish on 98FM. The award, which celebrates the best of Dublin’s food scene, was taken home by much-loved chicken spot Cluck Chicken, with locations in Tallaght and Walkinstown.

There were cheers, hugs and happy tears as each winner was revealed – with standouts including Bru Box Coffee in Donaghmede taking Best Dublin Coffee, Firehouse Pizza winning Best Takeaway, and Stylish Chix Boutique in Swords being named Best Local Business.
