The sun is shining and the June Bank Holiday weekend is almost here! We've put together our pick of the best events on in Dublin this weekend.
Forbidden Fruit Festival Friday (Sunday, Royal Hospital Kilmainham)
The summer really kicks off this weekend and Forbidden Fruit will get it going with a bang.
Thousands of music lovers will descend on the Royal Hospital Kilmainham for three days of live performances.
Acts like Groove Armada, Underworld, Dizzee Rascal and Katy B will take to stages and tents around the festival over the long weekend.
The 'Forbidden Fruit by Night' programme is back this year, and will see some acts play after-parties in venues like The Button Factory, The Grand Social and Wigwam.

Bloom (Thursday-Monday, The Phoenix Park)
Ireland's biggest annual gardening, food and family festival, Bloom hits the Phoenix Park this June bank holiday weekend. The five-day event, which is organised by Bord Bia, showcases gardens from Ireland's top landscape gardeners and designers.
There will be a whole host of exhibits on show including show gardens, sculptures, botanical art, craft displays as well as open farmyards available to the public.
Bord na Mona Growise will be joined by award winning garden designer Paul Martin and top foodie Lilly Higgins on the Garden Stage to talk about all things gardening and growing veggies! Paul and Lilly will be sharing some great tips on how to make the most of your outdoor space and grow your own veggies and herbs to add to your homemade fresh summer salads.

Dublin Port River Fest (Saturday-Monday, North Wall Quay)
North Wall Quay will play host to the Dublin Port Riverfest this weekend. The event, organised by the Dublin Port Company and the Docklands Business Forum, provides a wide range of activities along the historic quays with a jam packed programme of entertainment and family fun.
The celebration includes the arrival of 3 tall ships and four schooners which berth at North Wall Quay, kayaking sessions, food and craft markets, fun fair amusements and a celebrity DJ.
Admission is free for the event which takes place from Saturday to Monday from 11am-6pm.
Down With Jazz (Saturday-Sunday, Meeting House Square)
Down With Jazz takes over Meeting House Square, Temple Bar this weekend. The event is described as "a centenary celebration of rousing and rising, swinging and scatting".
The festival welcomes musicians and music lovers of all persuasions. Down With Jazz has line-up that reflects Ireland's diversity today.
