It's reported James May and Richard Hammond refused to film Top Gear without Jeremy Clarkson. A BBC executive claims they could have continued when Jeremy was suspended.
Speaking to the Mirror, the source said: "They didn't want to do it without Jeremy so the talks didn't get off the ground. There is a feeling that it is all of them or none of them."
We're expected to find out if the BBC will take Jeremy back, later this week.
