The Finglas Festival takes place this weekend. The event, run by local people with support from local businesses, Dublin City Council and local community groups, takes place at the Drogheda Mall car park and The Library car park from Friday July 1st until Sunday July 3rd.
This year's Festival is twice the size of last year's event. A Mrs Brown's Boys competition will feature at the event. The Agnes Fest celebrates the Finglas icon.
We're also having an Agnes Dance off. All you Mrs Brown lovers now have a chance to join us in this celebration of Agnes is appear on Sunday 3rd July with yer rollers, cardigan and apron (and dancing shoes). There will be a prize of a weekend away courtesy of Salveta's in Finglas. There will also be prizes for the under 12 category kindly donated by Dan the manager of Charlestown Shopping Center in Finglas. We hope to see you all on the day!
