The Legend of Tarzan Garden has won a gold medal award at Bloom. The garden, by Liat and Oliver Schurmann, is inspired by the action adventure film starring Alexander Skarsgård as the legendary character and Margot Robbie as Jane.
The garden incorporates an overhead canopy of foliage and a sparkling water feature to create a magical Afrian jungle. In the distance, an army of gorillas reflects the wildness of Tarzan’s tropical home.
The Legend of Tarzan swings into Irish cinemas on July 8th.
Visitors to the garden will have the opportunity enter a competition to win tickets to the European Premiere of The Legend of Tarzan in London on July 5th.
Ireland's biggest annual gardening, food and family festival, Bloom hits the Phoenix Park this June bank holiday weekend. The five-day event, which is organised by Bord Bia, showcases gardens from Ireland's top landscape gardeners and designers.
There will be a whole host of exhibits on show including show gardens, sculptures, botanical art, craft displays as well as open farmyards available to the public.
Bloom takes place from today until Monday 6th June at The Phoenix Park. Tickets are available here.
