It has been announced today that Pippa O’Connor is the face of this year’s Dublin Fashion Festival. The festival is in its sixth year and due to its popularity, it has been extended to a full week long event this September.
There’ll be lots of fashion, style, hair and make-up events. All events will be open to the public for free.

Marketing and Communications Director of DublinTowns, Clyde Carroll, is excited that Pippa has joined the festival team:
"We’re absolutely delighted that Pippa said yes to being the face of the festival this year. Every year we sit down and we think very hard, who’s the perfect person that can embody both style and fashion, and somebody who loves spending their time in Dublin, and Pippa is that perfect person. People all over Ireland do look to Pippa for fashion, style and advice and she’s just a great ambassador to have on board for the fashion festival this year."
Carroll also added that Irish people are more than capable of holding their own on the global fashion stage:
"Irish style and Dublin fashion is quite unique. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but yet we are continuously getting it right, even on the global stage. For a small little island and an even smaller city, we are taking on the big guys around the world and playing them at their own game."
Dublin Fashion Festival runs from the 7th to the 13th of September, 2015.
