It's reported Nick Grimshaw is in 'final talks' to replace Louis Walsh on The X Factor. According to insiders, he will be confirmed for the show in the next 24 hours.
Simon Cowell is a big fan of the BBC Radio 1 DJ. He recently told The Sun: 'I think anyone who works in the business, and loves music, has a right to be on this show.
'Nick loves artists and music, that’s what I love about him. I like the fact he’s from the North so he represents them.'
It's also reported that BBC will be keen to keep Nick on air, even if he does sign the deal with ITV. Grimmy's best mate Rita Ora is also reportedly in talks to replace Mel B on the panel.
