Kim Kardashian’s ex-hubbie Kris Humphries has just managed to flog the engagement ring he bought her 2 years ago. It cost Kris a whopping $750,000 and sold for $749,000.
The 16 karat emerald cut stone was auctioned off at Christie’s in New York – they shocked him by valuing the ring somewhere between $300K and $500K. He previously had it valued at $2 million before he bought it at a massive discount. Every jeweller wanted to supply Kim Kardashian with one of their rings knowing the publicity they would get would be worth every penny, with some even offering a free ring to Kris but he thought that would look bad so decided to pay for a diamond – even if it was at a discount.
Kim Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner by the way seems pretty shocked that he actually sold the engagement ring.
