Kim Kardashian's new ring may be quite the sparkler but how does it fare against her Hollywood counterparts?
Kim’s 15-carat diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz is estimated to be worth more than 1.6million dollars, but while size clearly matters to the loved-up pair, Kim’s rock is by no means the largest celebrity bling around.
First prize goes straight to the queen of diamonds Elizabeth Taylor who was given a 33-carat sparkler by Richard Burton in 1968.
Taylor also takes second prize- this lady was also presented with a 30-carat engagement ring by third husband Michael Todd in 1957.
In third place for ridiculously massive engagement rings is...Paris Hilton.
The heiress landed a 24-carat, emerald-cut, dazzler worth around 4.7 million dollars by Paris Latsis in 2005.
The pair called off the engagement just six months later!
