A film maker has apologised for comments he made about working with actress Keira Knightley - which he admits were "petty, mean and hurtful".
The British actress starred in 'Begin Again' - which John Carney directed.
During a recent interview he described a different film he's worked on as "a small personal movie with no Keira Knightleys in it."
He's now tweeted saying he "feels like a complete idiot."
