A 27-year-old drag queen has decided to postpone her wedding after getting through to the next round of The Voice of Ireland.
Emmie Reek, who moved to Ireland to learn English, wowed the coaches when she belted out a rendition of Adele's One and Only.
The 27-year-old, who is engaged, is the first drag queen to perform on The Voice of Ireland and only the second worldwide.
After all four coaches Una Foden, Rachel Stevens, Bressie and Kian Egan turned their chairs, Emmie got to choose which coach she wanted to mentor her. She eventually picked Una, with Bressie admitting her was 'raging'.
When asked if they would be putting off their wedding date, Emmie's fiancé said it was too good an opportunity to turn down. "It's your dream, you have to follow your dream. A wedding we can always postpone".
