Valentine's Day doesn't just need to be about love between humans. Why not try to find your pet palentine this year and adopt an animal from the DSPCA?

The animal charity has teamed up with Dundrum Town Centre to host a 'Lonely Paws' match-making event.

The initiative will take place from February 8th to 16th and aims to match pets with their forever families.

How It Works

The DSPCA will be making the initial matches either via the profiles displayed on Level 1 in the centre.

They will also be making matches at the adoption parades between 12-4pm in Town Square on the following dates:

  • Saturday 8th February
  • Saturday 15th February
  • Sunday 16th February

Once you have set eyes on your perfect match, the DSPCA will take you through the next steps to get the adoption process started.

The organisation says it's a perfect opportunity for people who can offer animals a good home to come along, find the right pet for them and pupgrade both their happiness permanently.

Brian Gillen, CEO of the DSPCA said: “The DSPCA are delighted to be partnering with Dundrum Town Centre for the ‘Lonely Paws’ event.

"We see pets as part of the family and know how much they enrich our lives.

"We look forward to meeting lots of potential new pet owners for the animals in our care at Dundrum Town Centre.”
