Disney is remaking Sister Act! According to reports on The Wrap, the writers behind Legally Blonde Karen McCullah and Kirsten Smith, will take on the project. They also worked together on 10 Things I Hate About You.
The original movie was released in 1992 and starred Whoopi Goldberg and Maggie Smith.
It grossed more that $230 million at the box office. Just a year later the sequel was released, Sister Act: Back in the Habit.
