Comedian Brendan O'Carroll will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy at this years IFTAs.
The Mrs Browns Boys star is being honoured for his contribution, influence and leadership in comedy, according to organisers.
They say he has shown great comedic versatility in his roles throughout the years.
The award will be presented to O'Carroll at the IFTA Gala Television Awards ceremony on Thursday.
