The Irish premiere of the film, Amy - a documentary about the life of singer Amy Winehouse - was held last night in Dublin.
The film uses archived footage and home movies of the star dating back to her childhood, and includes early demos of some of her most famous songs.
It was produced by James Gay-Rees, who also created the documentary Senna and Exit Through the Gift Shop.
Amy's family has publicly criticised the film, saying it's an unbalanced portrayal of the singer containing some basic untruths.
But James Gay-Rees says they had to be totally objective.
