Coming 2022?
Simon Cowell is working on a new and improved version of The X Factor.
According to his friend Sinitta, the music mogul is working to bring the show back within the next two years.
The singing competition, on which Cowell is a judge looking for the next big name in British music, has been off air since 2018.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, the So Macho singer said: "He’s working on a revamped X Factor, I’m not sure if it’s gonna be this year or next year."
Sinitta has of course been a part of the programme in the past, joining Simon at the judges houses stage of the competition.

Asked if she is on board to return for Simon’s revamped version, the pop star played it coy.
She replied: "That’s the big part of it isn’t it?
"I’ll start pestering him now and see what happens."
