It’s official, we’re getting more Gavin & Stacey!
(Although in fairness we would have rioted if they didn’t after leaving us on that cliffhanger)
James Corden and Ruth Jones have confirmed that they’ve written another episode of Gavin & Stacey and this one’s going to be the last one.
The pair announced the news by sharing a photo of themselves to Instagram, holding the final script.

“It's official!” the caption read, “We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey".
He added: "See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James".
There had been speculation that Gavin & Stacey was coming back after it was reported by Deadline that the main cast were signed on return.
However whenever they were asked, all the actors in questioned remained very tight lipped and wouldn’t give anything away.
Well now it’s official and thank god for that! Christmas 2024 is going to be a good one ❤️
