She may have left the show in 2015 to focus on her music career, but Dermot O'Leary says Cheryl will be back on our screens in 2018.
Since her departure in 2015, she has appeared on the show for a once off, in the judges' houses.
The Sun reported last year that Cheryl was in discussions to return to The Xfactor as a judge with a reported £1.5 million deal on the table.
In an interview with Metro, Dermot said "Cheryl’s going to come back"
He added, "If it wasn’t Cheryl, I would love Mariah. It would be a whole new world of crazy my friend!"
