The Late Late Show Will Pay Tribute To The Dubliners Tonight

Ryan Tubridy will wind back the clock tonight as he looks back on one of the most memorable Late Late Shows.

In 1987, host Gay Byrne celebrated 25 years of the Dubliners as the likes of Christy Moore, U2 and The Pogues joined Ronnie Drew and company to share their stories.

Tubs is digging out that thirty year-old footage from the archives while sole surviving Dubliner John Sheahan recalls how much that night meant to the band.

The show will air on RTÉ One tonight at 9:30pm.
