Uruguay's best selling newspaper, Ovacion have said this morning that Luis Suarez is to undergo knee surgery today.
It's said that the striker complained of a sore knee last night after training, and had an MRI scan soon after, and it was decided to submit him to hospital.
The Uruguay FA say that they are still hopeful that Suaraz will play a big part at the World Cup.
Their opening game is in 23 days time, when they play Costa Rica. They then face England on June the 19th.
