Two goals from Bernard Brogan helped St. Oliver Plunkett's Eoghan Rua beat Kilmacud Crokes by 3-10 to 2-11 in the first round of the Dublin Senior Football Championship last night. Brogan ended up with 2-4 - Paul Mannion scored one of the goals for Crokes who trailed by 11 points heading into the last 15 minutes.

No problem's for Ballyboden St. Enda's who advanced to the second round with a comfortable 6-23 to 10 points win over Trinity Gaels - Dubs midfielder Michael Daragh Macauley scored two of Boden's goals.

Raheny beat St. Peregrines by 2-14 to 1-11 after extra time. Both sides had the chances to win in normal time but at the end of which they were level, 0-11 to 1-8, after Robbie McCarthy had slotted the equaliser for the Dublin 15 men in the fourth minute of injury-time.
