Sky Sports revealed their GAA panel at Croke Park this afternoon without too many surprises.

Double All-Ireland winner Peter Canavan will be the main football analyst with Roscommon native and current International Rules manager Paul Earley as co-commentator.

Another double All-Ireland winner and former Clare hurler, Jamesie O'Connor will analyse the small ball while Tipperary legend and two-time All-Ireland winner Nicky English will provide co-commentary expertise.

Sky Sports News presenter Rachel Wyse and former Irish rugby union and league international Brian Carney will both front the coverage over the summer.

Mike Finnerty and Dave McIntyre will be on commentary duties in both codes.

Sky have exclusive rights to 14 championship matches this summer. The first match broadcast on the channel will be the meeting of Kilkenny and Offaly in the Leinster hurling championship in Nowlan Park on June 7th.

Director of production Steve Smith spoke to 98FM Sport's Stephen Doyle at today's launch about blanket media bans and whether we might see Dublin star Bernard Brogan on our TV screens this summer. You can listen here...
