It was a disappointing final round for Padraig Harrington at the Byron Nelson Championship in Texas. The Dubliner was only two shots off the lead heading into the final day but he carded a round of 74 to fall back to 4 under. He was 10 shots behind the winner Brendan Todd who claimed a two shot win.

After forcing himself into contention over the first 54 holes, Harrington struggled to find a fairway or hit a green in regulation yesterday as he plummeted into a share of 22nd on four-under. Just four of 14 tee shots came to rest on the short grass as the Irishman's hopes of a first win in 69 months on the world's major tours went out the window and it was American Brendon Todd who closed out his first PGA Tour victory with a 66.
