Ger Cunningham Waits On Conal Keaney Decision

Ger Cunningham doesn’t expect a decision from Conal Keaney over his future with the Dublin hurlers until spring.

Keaney has admitted that he is considering retirement from the inter-county scene.

He is still heavily involved with Ballyboden St. Endas, in their bid to win the AIB All-Ireland Club Football Championship.

The Firhouse Road men will face Clonmel Commericals on February 13th in the All-Ireland semi final, with a final to follow on St. Patricks Day if they get past the Tipperary side.

Cunningham admits Keaney’s focus is solely on his club commitments and will wait until after their All-Ireland campaign finishes before discussing the veteran’s future with him:
