the Dublin footballers will defend their league title against Derry on the 27th of April at Croke Park.

The Dubs came from 10 points down in the first half to win by seven, over a strong Cork side.

It ended, Dublin 2-20. Cork 2-13.

The Rebels notched up a big score early on, as they bagged 2-4 inside the opening 10 minutes.

The Dubs only scored seven points in the first half, and trailed by eight points.

But Jim gavin's side burst out of the blocks in the second half, and a goal from man of the match Michael Darragh Macauley settled the nerves.

Some fine scores from Bernard and Alan Brogan brought the Dubs right back into contention.

Diarmuid Connolly converted a 64th minute penalty to put the Dubs five in front.

And while Cork tried to rally back, the Dubs had all the momentum and pushed on to register two more points before the final whistle.
