Dublin boss Anthony Daly told the Sunday Game last night it may be time to "let someone else at it".

Daly's comments were made after his team crashed out of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship yesterday.

The Clare native has helped revolutionise the small ball sport in the capital during his six-year reign.

Last year he led Dublin to a first Leinster title since '61 and in 2011 won the county's first league title since '39.

The Dubs were beaten 2-23 to 16 points by Tipperary in their All-Ireland quarter-final at Semple Stadium yesterday.

Daly looked a little emotional speaking to media in the tunnel but said he needed time to think things over.
