Colm Cronin is out of Dublin's Leinster and All-Ireland hurling campaigns this summer.
The Cuala man missed the Leinster quarter final win over Wexford because of his exams.
And according to The Herald today, he has opted out of the panel for the rest of the summer to go travelling.
Fiontan McGibb is also out of this weekend's Leinster semi final against Kilkenny in Portlaoise, as he continues to struggle with a knee injury.
Peter Kelly and Cian Boland are also missing with long term injuries, with Boland still being ruled out despite his appearance for the Under 21s last week.

However, in good news for boss Ger Cunningham, Shane Durkin is back for the Cats clash, having sat out the win over Wexford through injury.
He also missed the Allianz League campaign due to his involvement in Ballyboden St Endas' All-Ireland winning run.
Ryan O’Dwyer and Paul Schutte are also both expected to challenge for starting places after fully recovering from their injury problems.
