Cian Boland will make his return to the Dublin setup tomorrow night.
The St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh hurler has been out of action all year through injury, but has been named in the Dublin Under 21 team to face Wexford in the Bord Gáis Energy Leinster U21 hurling quarter-final tomorrow.
The news is also a boost to Ger Cunningham, who is preparing his charges for the Leinster senior hurling semi final against Kilkenny on June 11th.
Senior panellists Eoghan O’Donnell, Cian MacGabhann, Shane Barrett, James Madden, Sean Treacy and Chris Bennett are also part of the Under 21 squad for tomorrow’s game against a Wexford team eyeing a fourth Leinster U21 hurling title in-a-row.
Throw in tomorrow at Wexford Park is at 7.30pm, with the winners to face Westmeath in the Leinster semi-final.
