Chelsea are into the semi finals of the Champions League after a thrilling two goals to nil victory in this return against Paris St Germain at Stamford Bridge to go through on the away goals rule after a 3-3 aggregate scoreline.

The winning goal arrived three minutes from end in very unclassic agricultural style.

Manager Jose Mourinho threw on Fernando Torres and Demba Ba to add height alongside Samuel Eto'o in attack.

And it paid dividends in the 87th minute when a Cesar Azpilicueta miskicked effort flew across goal, pinballed around the area and there was Ba sliding in and scooping his effort over the keeper and into the net.

Chelsea had taken the lead in the 32nd minute when a long throw in was flicked on by David Luiz for sub Andre Schurrle to drill home a right footed effort.

Branislav Ivanovic will miss the first leg of the semis after he picked up his second yellow of the competition and is suspended.

It was an equally thrilling contest in the other match.

It's Real Madrid who go through to the last four but only after an incredible effort from Borussia Dortmund who won 2-0 on the night through a Marco Reus brace but go out 3-2 on aggregate.
