Neil Lennon picked a strong side as his Celtic side took on Motherwell at Fir Park.

But after a poor first half, Lennon had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

It was a terrible start for the Hoops as John Sutton put the home side in front after just five minutes. The visitors were still trying to get a footing in the game as they went 2-0 down. Zaine Francis-Angol scoring a second after 44 minutes.

Anthony Stokes gave Celtic some hope as his cross dipped into the net just on the stroke of half time.

Georgios Samaras made it 2-2 after an hour, and it seemed that only one side would go on to win the game.

Substitute Leigh Griffiths was sprung from the bench, and it paid off, as the Scotland International gave Celtic the lead with just four minutes remaining.

While the Celtic supporters were already celebrating another win, John Sutton popped up at the back post to make it 3-3 in injury time.

Neil Lennon won't be happy with the goals that his side conceded, but the Champions still hold a 25 point lead at the top of the table.
