Aussies Name Squad for International Rules

Australia manager Mickey O’Loughlin has named a 33-man squad for October’s International Rules series. The 33-man Indigenous squad will be cut closer to the series which will be played over two tests in Kingspan Breffni Park and Croke Park on October 19 and 26 respectively. Sydney Swans’ Adam Goodes is arguably the biggest name in the selection that includes five players from Essendon – Alywn Davey, Courtenay Dempsey, Leroy Jetta, Nathan Lovett-Murray and Patrick Ryder. Ireland manager Paul Earley is due to finalise his squad after the All-Ireland final on September 22.
