Tottenham's fixture plans have been thrown up in the air with up to six players believed to have tested positive for coronavirus.

Football London and other media outlets are reporting the development, with the players set to undergo another round of PCR testing.

Anyone who tests positive must isolate for ten days under UK Government guidelines.

Spurs play Rennes in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, before travelling to Brighton for a Premier League game on Sunday.

Under UEFA rules, 13 registered players are required to fulfill a fixture, and it's believed Tottenham will be able to achieve this.

These games will be followed by three encounters in quick succession before Christmas; a pair of top flight fixtures against Leicester City and Liverpool and a Carabao Cup quarter final with West Ham.

The Antonio Conte era has started well, with three wins and a draw from the opening four games leaving Spurs in fifth place in the Premier League, two points off the Champions League places but with a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Tottenham may offload Joe Rodon and Steven Bergwijn in the January transfer window, according to The UK Times.

Bergwijn is being linked with a move to Ajax. The midfielder joined Tottenham for £27 million almost two years ago.

Welsh defender Rodon has not featured under Conte in the League and could attract interest from Brighton, having played for Seagulls manager Graham Potter at Swansea.
