UCD is investigating reports that male students have been rating women online. The college newspaper has made the revenge porn allegations.
UCD’s college paper ‘the College Tribune’ claims a group of up to 200 male students have set up a private chat online.
It alleges that these students are rating women that they have slept with and are sharing photos. UCD are looking into the allegations.
The Students Union has told 98FM it’s working with the college on an investigation into the claims. The group says so far they haven’t been able to confirm if the groups exists but say the union completely condemns revenge porn as a heinous activity.
It also adds they’ve been working on campaigns to highlight the importance of sexual consent.
