A man and a woman are due to appear before Dublin District Court today charged in connection with an incident at a house in Rush last month.
A 9-year-old girl was discovered with serious injuries on 2nd July.
The pair, who are aged in their thirties, were arrested on 7th July under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
A garda investigation is on going.
