A man in his 30s has been charged in relation to a multi-million euro drugs seizure in Laois and Dublin.
He was arrested after Gardaí stopped and searched a vehicle on the M7 in Laois on Friday evening.
100 thousand euro worth of cocaine was discovered.
Gardaí found a further 2.1 million euro worth of drugs during a follow-up search at a house in west Dublin.
The man has been charged to appear before Blanchardstown District Court tomorrow morning.
A garda spokesperson said, "A male in his 30s, arrested during the course of this operation, has been released from the provisions of Section 2 of the
"Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 and has been charged in connection with the case.
"He is scheduled to appear before Blanchardstown District Court on Monday, 14th July 2025 at 10:30am.
Investigations are ongoing."
