Tiger Kidnap Trial Hears From Husband

A tiger kidnapping victim has told a court how he collapsed on the side of a motorway after hearing that his family was safe.

A gang told Paul Richardson to drive his Securicor van towards Galway after he left over €2m at a pub car park near Lucan on March 14th 2005.

His wife and two sons were held captive in the Dublin Mountains after being taken from their home in Raheny the night before.

Jason Kavanagh from Blanchardstown, Christopher Corcoran from Sutton, and Coolock natives Mark Farrelly and Alan Costello are on trial for the raid.
