Almost twenty thousand teachers are going on strike.
Members of the Teachers Union of Ireland won't go to work on Tuesday the 4th of February.
They're walking off the job in a row over what they're calling pay discrimination.
The action will affect secondary schools, colleges of further education, as well as Institutes of Technology and Technological universities.
