The evacuation of Priory Hall has cost the taxpayer almost 4 million euro so far.
That's before another 10 million euro is spent on refurbishing the northside apartment complex.
Last October the former residents accepted a deal which allowed them to them to walk away from their homes.
Dublin City Council has promised to keep paying their accommodation costs unitl next month and will be reviewing the situation within the next two weeks.
