Smyths toy store has told staff at a Dublin branch to take down a sign on the door informing members of the public they had removed products made in Israel from their shelves.
A spokesperson for Smyths said the sign had been put up by staff in Jervis Street, and it was not checked by head office.
The spokesperson said Smyths don't generally take a political stance as a company.
