Six fishermen were rescued in the early hours of this morning after their trawler got into difficulty of the Dublin Coast.
The crew had been scallop fishing when a rope got caught in the propellor of the 25 metre boat just off the Kish Bank.
The Dun Laoghaire RNLI lifeboat was launched shortly after 3 am.
A tow was set up during the 8 hour operation, and in force 9 gales, the crew and trawler were brought safely into the harbour at around 11am.
