RENUA Ireland leader Lucinda Creighton has spoken out about how stricter laws are needed for parents.
The party believes it's time for parents to be made responsible for their children' s actions, particularly those who consistently break the law.
They said they will introduce laws to make it mandatory for parents of children to attend the hearings where their child faces charges.
Parents will be required to pay the court costs of the proceedings if their children are found guilty.
