Train Strike Ends But There Are Knock On Delays

Today's three hour rail strike has finished up but there will be knock on delays until at least lunchtime.  

Talks at the Worker Relations Commission collapsed just after 11.30 last night.

Thousands of rail commuters had to find alternative modes of transport into work, college or away for the bank holiday weekend as there were no DART, Commuter and Intercity services until 9am. 

These are the first services that are getting back on track.  

 

  • 09:40 Bray Malahide
  • 10:00 Greystones Howth 
  • 09:45 Howth Bray
  • 10:30 Malahide Greystones

Commuter services: 

  • 09:35 Drogheda Pearse 
  • 11:00 Dundalk Pearse 
  • 09:10 Maynooth Pearse 
  • 09:22 Connolly Maynooth 
  • 09:10 Portlaoise Heuston
  • 09:20 Heuston Portlaoise
  • 10:38 M3 Parkway Clonsilla 

 

Intercity Services will resume at 09:00hrs with the exception of the following services which will not operate: 

  • 10:35 Belfast Connolly 
  • 10:15 Heuston Waterford
