There has been major traffic disruption in the city centre this morning after a serious collision.
Part of the south quays, between Mellows Bridge and Fr Matthew Bridge, was shut off as a result of the crash.
It happened at Usher's Quay at around 3.20am and involved a car and an e-scooter.
The rider of the scooter, a man in his 20s, was brought to St James's Hospital with serious injuries.
This road has now fully re-opened after diversions were in place for several hours, causing significant disruption to rush hour traffic.
