On May 22nd, a record number of people are expected to vote in two referendums.

Voters will be asked their opinion on equal marriage and the age at which someone can run for President.

If you plan to vote on May 22nd, you must be registered before 5PM this evening.

You can check the register here.

If you're not registered to vote, you'll need to fill out this form. If you want to move your vote to a new address, you need to fill out this form.

All applications must be sent to your local authority before 5PM this evening. You will need to deliver your application by hand this afternoon.

Dublin City: Franchise Section, Dublin City Council, Block 4, Floor 1, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown: Franchise Section, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, Dundrum Office Park, Off Main Street, Dundrum, Dublin 14.

South DublinSouth Dublin County Council, Register of Electors, Corporate Performance & Change Management, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24

Fingal: Franchise Section, Fingal County Council, County Hall, Main St, Swords, Co.Dublin.

The wording

Voters will be asked if they agree that:

"“Marriage may be contracted in accordance with law by two persons without distinction as to their sex.”

Voters will also be asked if they want to replace this law:

"Every citizen who has reached his thirty-fifth year of age is eligible for election to the office of President."

With this proposed law:

"Every citizen who has reached the age of twenty-one years is eligible for election to the office of President."
